Computer Hardware Servicing NCII

This course covers computer fundamentals, and focuses on developing thorough knowledge and skills required to meet maintenance and troubleshooting needs of computer systems. The program includes PC setup, and configuration, software installation, and networking. Sufficient hands-on and laboratory resources are provided to assure competent results in the training, thus preparing the students for certifying exams and job placement.
The COMPUTER HARDWARE SERVICING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that must possess to enable to diagnose and troubleshoot problems in personal computer systems, software, replace parts and get the system back to normal operation.
A person who has achieved this Qualification is competent to be:
  • Computer Service Technician
  • Computer Repairman
  • Technical Support Staff
  • Data Encoder
This Qualification is packaged from the competency map of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Industry as shown in Annex A.
